The animations in iOS 9 make for a nice, smooth experience, but that doesn’t mean everyone’s a fan of them. Over on 9to5Mac, they point to a glitch found by a Redditor that’ll let you disable animations completely, which makes apps feel like they’re starting up super fast.
We’ve mentioned before that setting the Reduce Motion toggle to On can get rid of animations and speed things up a bit, but this glitch takes that to the next level. You can see it demonstrated in the video above, but here are the steps to enable if you don’t want to follow along:
- Open Settings > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch and enable Assistive Touch
